KATTU MALPUA

KATTU MALPUA - Simrun Chopra

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp kattu flour
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 30ml  milk
  • 1 tsp ghee
  • 2 almonds
  • 1 cashew

Method

  1. In a bowl add kattu flour, milk and mix it well to form a thin watery consistency.
  2. Heat pan add ghee and pour the kattu batter on the ghee and allow it to shallow fry .
  3. Flip and fry on both the sides until it's golden brown and transfer to a plate.
  4. Add 2 teaspoon sugar and 2 teaspoon water to the pan and make a sugar syrup.
  5. Now add the fried malpua in the sugar syrup and allow it to soak for 2 to 3 minutes.
  6. Once it soaks the sugar syrup, transfer it to a serving plate and top it with almonds and cashews.
  7. Enjoy kattu malpua.
