NAVRATRI DAHI POTATO (WITH THICK GRAVY)

Ingredients
- 300 gms boiled potatoes
- 1 cup curd
- 1 tsp whole cumin
- ¼ tsp asafoetida
- few chopped green chillies
- salt to taste
- 2 tbsp of ghee
Method
- Whip the curd and keep aside.
- Peel the potatoes and cut into cubes.
- Now mix the cubed potatoes to the curd and mix it gently. Keep aside.
- Heat the ghee in a pan.
- When the ghee becomes warm.
- Add the asafoetida and whole cumin.
- When the cumin starts to splutter. Add the chopped green chillies. Stir for few seconds.
- Add the curd and potato and ¼ cup water.
- And keep stirring or the curd will curdle .
- Make the flame low and keep stirring gently.
- The gravy will start to thicken .
- Add salt to taste. Stir for few seconds.
- Remove from flame.
- Done.
