NAVRATRI SABUDANA HALWA

NAVRATRI SABUDANA HALWA - Simrun Chopra

Ingredients 

  • 1 cup of soaked sabudana
  • 1/2 cup jaggery
  • 1 tsp powdered green cardamom
  • 5-6 almonds cut in strips
  • 1 walnut broken into pieces
  • few rasins
  • 1 ½ tbsp of ghee

Method 

  1. In a kadhai add the ghee.
  2. When the ghee becomes warm.
  3. Add the dried fruits .
  4. Stir for few seconds.
  5. Then add the jaggery .
  6. Stir on low flame.
  7. When the jaggery starts to melt .
  8. Add the soaked sabudana .
  9. Stir it in well for few minutes on low flame .
  10. Add the powdered cardamom powder
  11. Mix it well .
  12. Cook on low flame for few seconds .
  13. Done .
