200 gms of bindi (ladyfinger)
500 gms of curd
1 tsp oil
Red chilli powder according to taste
Black salt according to taste
1/2 tsp chat masala
1 tsp roasted jeera powder
1/2 tsp sugar
1/2 medium size onion chopped
1 tbsp finely chopped coriander leaves
1-2 free chilly finely chopped .
Wash and dry the bindi nicely .
Cut the head and wee bit of tail .
Cut bindi in small pieces .
Rub 1 tsp oil in a non stick pan , heat the pan a little and add the cut bindi .
Keep stirring on low flame till the bindi cooks and becomes crisp .
When done leave it for few minutes in the pan .
Prepare the curd . Add the red chilli powder , black salt ,chat masala and roasted jeera powder and the sugar .Mix once then add the chopped onions , coriander and green chillies .
Mix all nicely and keep aside .
Just before serving add the crisp bindi .
Garnish with roasted jeera powder .
Note : Do mix bindi in the curd just before serving , or else will become soft .
