Jhatpat Paneer

This recipe is great as a side dish, a roll filling or even to put on top of a sandwich for breakfast



  • 500 gms of paneer ,cut into cubes 
  • 1"pc ginger ,cut into small julienne 
  • 3-4 green chillies, cut into big pieces 
  • 1 onion cut into cubes 
  • 1 green capsicum ,cut into cubes 
  • 1 tsp garlic paste 
  • 1tsp ginger paste
  • Salt to taste 
  • Red chilli powder to taste 
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder 
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder 
  • 1/2 tsp coriander powder 
  • 1 1/2 tbsp oil 

  • Take a kadhai add oil ,warm the oil a little ,then add the small ginger julienne and the green chillies (to be cut in big pieces )
  • Stir fry for few seconds 
  • Then add cut onion and stir fry for few seconds
  • Then add the capsicum cubes and the ginger garlic paste, stir fry for few minutes
  • stir fry for few minutes so that the raw smell of the ginger garlic goes
  • Next add salt to taste, red chilli powder according to taste, turmeric powder, tsp cumin powder, coriander powder
  • Mix everything in well and saute for few minutes 
  • Then add the cut paneer cubes to the masala
  • Mix it in gently and cook on low flame for few minutes ,so that the masala infuses with the paneer
  • Can sprinkle a little water,so that the paneer remains moist, cook on low flame for few minutes. 
  • And done .
