Pudina Dahi Chicken
  • 500gms chicken 
  • 1 1/2 tbsp oil 
  • 1 1/2 tbsp ghee 
  • 2 1 /2 tbsp of grated ginger-garlic 
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder 
  • 1/4 tsp red chilli powder 
  • 1/2 tsp coriander powder 
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder 1-2 bay leaf 
  • 3-4 whole red chillies 
  • 2 green cardamom 
  • Few slitted green chillies 
  • 2 tbsp of coriander mint and green chillies paste 
  • 2 tbsp of chopped coriander leaves 
  • 2 tbsp of yougart 
  • 1 tsp sugar 
  • 1/4 tsp white pepper 
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper 

  • To be ground to a paste 
  • Grind 1/4 cup mint leaves and little less than q/4 cup of coriander leaves and 3-4 whole green chillies
  • Keep aside .

  • Take a kadhai add the ghee and oil 
  • Warm it a little ,then add the grated ginger garlic 
  • Saute for few minutes till it becomes beige in colour
  • Then add turmeric powder,red chilli powder 
  • And saute for few minutes 
  • Then add the coriander powder and cumin powder 
  • Saute for few minutes 
  • Now add the chicken to the masala and stir fry the chicken for few minutes 
  • Then add the slitted green chillies, the bay leaf ,whole red chilli and the green cardamom 
  • Saute for few minutes Then add the coriander mint chilli paste 
  • Mix it in well and stir fry for few minutes 
  • To the chicken now add the chopped coriander leaves 
  • Mix it in nicely then add the yougart 
  • Mix it in, then cover and cook on low flame till chicken is done ,do keep stirring in between 
  • Lastly add the sugar Mix it in and then 
  • Add the white and black pepper 
  • Saute on low flame for few minutes 
  • When the oil starts seeping from the sides 
  • It's done .
