Pudina Dahi Chicken

- 500gms chicken
- 1 1/2 tbsp oil
- 1 1/2 tbsp ghee
- 2 1 /2 tbsp of grated ginger-garlic
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/4 tsp red chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin powder 1-2 bay leaf
- 3-4 whole red chillies
- 2 green cardamom
- Few slitted green chillies
- 2 tbsp of coriander mint and green chillies paste
- 2 tbsp of chopped coriander leaves
- 2 tbsp of yougart
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/4 tsp white pepper
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- To be ground to a paste
- Grind 1/4 cup mint leaves and little less than q/4 cup of coriander leaves and 3-4 whole green chillies
- Keep aside .
Method
- Take a kadhai add the ghee and oil
- Warm it a little ,then add the grated ginger garlic
- Saute for few minutes till it becomes beige in colour
- Then add turmeric powder,red chilli powder
- And saute for few minutes
- Then add the coriander powder and cumin powder
- Saute for few minutes
- Now add the chicken to the masala and stir fry the chicken for few minutes
- Then add the slitted green chillies, the bay leaf ,whole red chilli and the green cardamom
- Saute for few minutes Then add the coriander mint chilli paste
- Mix it in well and stir fry for few minutes
- To the chicken now add the chopped coriander leaves
- Mix it in nicely then add the yougart
- Mix it in, then cover and cook on low flame till chicken is done ,do keep stirring in between
- Lastly add the sugar Mix it in and then
- Add the white and black pepper
- Saute on low flame for few minutes
- When the oil starts seeping from the sides
- It's done .
