Navratri Special

Adding curd during a fast helps add protein and probiotics for gut health. I personally love this cool and refreshing combination 

Serve with buckwheat roti. I used sweet potato while making the roti over regular potatoes. 



  • 1 cup curd
  • pinch of roasted jeera powder 
  • pinch of salt to taste 
  • pinch of sugar / honey 
  • 1/2 cup chopped cucumber 
  • 1/2 cup chopped pineapple 
  • my crispy roasted channa (optional) 


  • Whisk the curd to get a smoothie like consistency
  • Mix in the salt, sugar, jeera and honey. Mix well to incorpoate 
  • Taste and adjust 
  • Add the chopped cucumber and pineapple


  • Apple and roasted walnuts 
  • Shredded carrot and raisin
  • Steam raw papaya 
  • Pomegranate and cashew 
  • Roasted almond pear
