Important Note: Ensure the garlic is cooked properly. Uncooked garlic placed in oil can cause Clostridium Botulinum bacteria to breed, leading to botulism poisoning. The recommended cooking temperature is 94°C (200°F). Do not store any leftovers.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • Garlic cloves

Method:

  1. Place the garlic cloves and olive oil in a pan.
  2. Sauté the garlic at medium to high temperature for 20 minutes.
  3. Remove and discard the garlic pieces.
  4. Use the garlic-infused oil immediately. Discard any leftovers.

Onion-Infused Oil

This recipe is similar to the garlic-infused oil, providing a flavorful base for many dishes.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped

Method:

  1. Place the chopped onion and olive oil in a pan.
  2. Sauté the onion until browned, about 20 minutes.
  3. Remove and discard the onion pieces.
  4. Use the onion-infused oil immediately. Discard any leftovers.
