My Secret Aloo Chaat Recipe
This is a simple recipe but each ingredient is key to the taste.

- 500 gms boiled potatoes
- 2-3 tomatoes sliced
- 2-3 onions sliced
- Chopped green chillies to taste
- 2 tbsp ginger julienne
- 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
- 2 tsp chopped mint leaves (optional)
- 2 cups boiled dried peas(matar) cooked/boiled
- 1 cup thick tamarind pulp
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 tsp black salt (optional)
- Red chilli powder to taste
- 1 tsp roasted cumin powder
- 1 tsp roasted coriander powder
- 1 tsp chat masala
- Boil and cool the potato.
- After removing the skin Cut the potato in half and then cut in slices horizontally or vertically
- Slice the onions and tomatoes and chop the green chillies small
- Mix all of the above ingredients in a bowl and then mix it into the sliced boiled potato
- Mix gently taking care not to break the potatoes.
- Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve
Note : all flavors/spices/tamarind / chillies can be adjusted according to personal taste .
