Masoor Dal Dosa with Coconut Chutney
A high-protein, flavorful dosa made with red lentils, paired with a delicious coconut chutney.

Ingredients
- Masoor dal (red lentils, uncooked): 50g, soaked for 4-6 hours and ground into a batter
- Onion: 1 small, finely chopped
- Green chilies: 1, chopped

Spices:
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- Salt to taste
- Oil: 1 tsp
- Coconut chutney: 2 tbsp (optional)
Instructions

Prepare the batter:
- Soak masoor dal for 4-6 hours, then grind into a smooth batter. Mix the batter with finely chopped onion, green chilies, turmeric powder, and salt.

Cook the dosa:
- Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Grease lightly with oil. Pour a ladleful of the batter onto the pan and spread it into a thin circle.
- Drizzle a little oil around the edges. Cook on one side until golden brown, then flip and cook the other side. Repeat with the remaining batter.

Prepare the chutney (optional):
- If using, serve the dosa with 2 tbsp of coconut chutney on the side.

- Serve the dosas hot, plain or with chutney, as desired.
