Paneer Bhurjee with Roti

Paneer Bhurjee is an easy quick dinner and something we always have at home. Paneer is a type of cheese so can be high in calories. We recommend weighing the paneer to avoid overshooting calories 
Note : if you like to eat larger meals then you can add a cut salad on the side with cucumber tomato or you can add spinach and some mushrooms into the Bhurjee to make it feel more while keeping calories low. 
Ingredients 
  • Paneer (low-fat): 85g, crumbled
  • Whole wheat roti: 1 small (30g)
  • Onion: 1 small, chopped
  • Tomato: 1 small, chopped
  • Capsicum: 1/2 small, chopped
  • Green chilies: 1, chopped
  • Spices: 1/2 tsp cumin, 1/2 tsp turmeric, 1/2 tsp garam masala, salt to taste
  • Oil: 1 tsp

Instructions:

  1. Heat oil, add cumin seeds, onion, and green chilies, sauté for 3 minutes.
  2. Add capsicum and tomato, cook for 5 minutes with spices.
  3. Add crumbled paneer, mix well, and cook for 2 minutes.
  4. Serve with a warm roti or a slice of bread ( no ghee / oil / butter)
