Brown Rice Kheer

Ingredients:
- Brown rice – 1/2 cups
- Skimmed Milk – 1 cup (100ml)
- Cashew - 2 nos.
- Almonds – 2 i nos
- Sugar- ½ tsp
- Ground cardamom powder – a pinch
Directions:
- In a bowl soak the brown rice coarsely for 30mins .
- Cook the brown rice untill soft.
- In a pan mixed milk and rice and cook on low flame till milk reduces a little, stirring from time to time.
- Add sugar, cardamom powder and mix well.
- Switch off the flame and garnish with chopped nuts.
- It can be served either warm or cold.
