Chinese Cucumber Salad

This is a super cool and refreshing salad. Great as an evening snack or on the side when you are having chinese
Ingredients
- 1 medium size Cucumber
- 1/2 tsp chopped and pounded garlic
- 1/4 tsp soya sauce
- 1/4 tsp apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp roasted sesame seeds
- 1 fresh red chilli chopped fine
- 1 tsp sugar /honey
- 1/4 tsp chilli flakes
- Salt to taste (just a pinch is required)
- 1 tsp finely chopped chives/spring onions
Method
- Cut the cucumber into thin slices and sprinkle a pinch of salt on it and set aside for 10 mins
- After10 minutes gently squeeze the water out from the cucumber, and place in a bowl.
- Now add all the ingredients to the cucumber and mix it in well
- Garnish with chives or spring onions
- Serve cold or chilled
