Ginger & Peppermint Belly-Soothing Elixir - Simrun Chopra

Ingredients:

  • 1 thumb-sized piece of fresh ginger
  • A handful of fresh peppermint leaves
  • Hot water


Preparation:

  • Grate the ginger or slice it thinly.
  • Slightly crush the peppermint leaves to release their oils.
  • Place the ginger and peppermint in a cup.


Infusion:

  • Pour hot water over the ginger and peppermint.
  • Cover and let it steep for 5-10 minutes.


Strain & Enjoy:

  • Strain the infusion to remove the ginger and peppermint.
  • Sip and relish this aromatic, belly-soothing elixir.
  • Note: Ginger aids digestion, while peppermint helps relax the muscles of the GI tract, potentially reducing bloating.
