Khatta Meetha Subzi

Ingredients
  • 1/2 a medium size cabbage shredded 
  • 1 carrot cut into matchstick pieces 
  • 1 capsicum sliced thin 
  • 2 red peppers cut vertically 
  • 1 onion sliced 
  • Few slitted green chillies 
  • 10-12 pieces of curry patta 
  • 1/2 tsp whole big mustard seeds 
  • 1/2 lime juice 
  • Salt to taste 
  • Pinch of turmeric 
  • 1 1/2 tsp of sugar 
  • 2 tbsp of oil 

Method
  • Take a pan and add the oil to the pan 
  • Let the oil become warm 
  • When it becomes warm add the mustard seeds 
  • When the mustard seeds start spluttering 
  • Then add the curry patta and stir fry for 30-40 seconds 
  • Then add the sliced onions 
  • Stir fry the onions for a minute or so 
  • Now add the green chillies to the onions and mix it in 
  • Then add the carrots and stir it in 
  • Now add the capcicum to the pan and mix it in well 
  • Add the cabbage to the pan and gently mix all the vegetables together 
  • Immediately add the salt ,turmeric and sugar to the vegetables in the pan 
  • Mix everything in together well 
  • Keep the flame full ,the cabbage should not leave water 
  • Keep stirring the vegetables the water that is released will simultaneously dry up 
  • The vegetables need to be little crunchy. 
  • Finally add the lime juice ,mix it in throughly with the vegetables. 
  • Done
