Long /String Beans Stir Fry
Ingredients
  • 300 - 350 gms of long /string beans 
  • 11/2 tbsp of oil 
  • 1 tbsp of chopped ginger 
  • 1- 2 tbsp of chopped garlic 
  • 1 big onion cut into half then cut into thick slices 
  • 1 tsp brown sugar 
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce 
  • 1 tbsp light soya sauce 
  • 2 tsp rice wine 
  • 1 tsp red chilli flakes 
  • 1/4 tsp sesame oil 
  • Pinch of salt 

Method
  • Wash and cut the string beans to 2 " pieces ,discard the edges from both ends and keep aside 
  • Take a kadhai add oil ,when it becomes warm add the chopped ginger and stir fry for a minute use or so 
  • Now add the string beans and stir fry for few minutes 
  • Then add the chopped garlic and stir fry for few minutes 
  • Cover and cook just for few minutes as the crunchiness should remain, do stir in between 
  • Remove cover then add the thickly sliced onion ,cook on medium heat
  • Then add the brown sugar and stir fry for few seconds 
  • Now add the oyster sauce and the light soya sauce 
  • Cook for few minutes 
  • Then add the rice wine and mix it in throughly 
  • Next add the red chilli flakes and mix it in 
  • Lastly add the sesame oil and a pinch of salt ,keeping in mind that the sauces have salt. Stir fry for 30-40 seconds and done .
  • Ready
