Stir Fry Masala Bhindi (ladyfinger)

- 500gms ladyfinger
- (to be washed ,dried completely. Remove the head ,slit it from the middle then cut into half .Cut and keep aside. )
- 2-3 tbsp of oil
- 1/2 tsp whole cumin
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp dry mango powder
- 1/4 tsp chat masala
Method
- Wash the ladyfinger and dry it throughly ,cut the head and then slit it from the centre and then cut into half. Keep aside
- Take a kadhai add the oil and warm the oil a little
- Then add the whole cumin
- When the cumin starts spluttering
- Add the cut ladyfinger and mix it in well.
- Stir fry for few minutes
- Then add the turmeric powder and stir fry for few more minutes
- Cover and cook on low flame ,stirring in between
- Cover and cook till half done
- Remove the lid
- Then add salt and stir fry for few minutes
- Next add the red chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, dry mango powder and chat masala
- Stir fry and mix the dry masala well
- Now cook on low flame till done ,keep stirring the ladyfinger ,so that it does not get caught .
- Done .
