Paneer Salad Wraps
  • 100g paneer (Indian cottage cheese), cubed or sliced
  • 1 tspoil
  • 1/2tsp cumin powder
  • 1/2tsp coriander powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 cup mixed salad greens (lettuce, spinach, arugula, etc.)
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup diced cucumber
  • 1 tbs(coriander)
  • 2 cd size whole-grain tortillas or wraps

Method of preparation:
  1. Heat oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. -Add the paneer cubes or slices to the skillet and sprinkle with cumin powder, coriander powder, and salt. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until the paneer is lightly browned and heated through. Remove from heat and set aside.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the mixed salad greens, diced tomatoes, diced cucumber
  3. Warm the tortillas or wraps slightly to make them more soft.
  4. To assemble the wraps, place a generous portion of the paneer mixture onto each tortilla, followed by a generous spoonful of the salad mixture.
  5. Fold the sides of the tortilla over the filling, then roll it up tightly into a wrap.
  6. Secure with toothpicks if necessary and serve immediately
