Paneer Salad Wraps
Ingredients:
Method of preparation:
- 100g paneer (Indian cottage cheese), cubed or sliced
- 1 tspoil
- 1/2tsp cumin powder
- 1/2tsp coriander powder
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 cup mixed salad greens (lettuce, spinach, arugula, etc.)
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup diced cucumber
- 1 tbs(coriander)
- 2 cd size whole-grain tortillas or wraps
Method of preparation:
- Heat oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. -Add the paneer cubes or slices to the skillet and sprinkle with cumin powder, coriander powder, and salt. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until the paneer is lightly browned and heated through. Remove from heat and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the mixed salad greens, diced tomatoes, diced cucumber
- Warm the tortillas or wraps slightly to make them more soft.
- To assemble the wraps, place a generous portion of the paneer mixture onto each tortilla, followed by a generous spoonful of the salad mixture.
- Fold the sides of the tortilla over the filling, then roll it up tightly into a wrap.
- Secure with toothpicks if necessary and serve immediately
