Paneer Shawarma

Ingredients
- 100g paneer
- ½ tbsp ground cumin
- ¼ tbsp turmeric powder
- ½ tbsp ground coriander
- ½ tbsp garlic and ginger paste
- ½ tsp pepper
- 25g large onion, thinly sliced
- 25g tomato
- ½ large lemon juice
- 5ml oil
For pita bread
- water
- yeast
- pinch sugar
- whole wheat flour 30g
- salt
Method
- Knead flour with yeast salt, pinch sugar with required water and set aside for 1 hour then make a dough and cook in the pan.
- In a small bowl, mix the whole cumin, turmeric, coriander, garlic and ginger and paste and pepper. Marinate paneer and season with salt and set aside.
- Grill the paneer and then toss with onion, tomato.
- Spread the paneer with the onions, tomato in Pita Bread and spread yogurt sauce or tahini. Roll it and serve.
