Peri Peri Popcorn

- 1/2 cup raw corn kernels
- 1 tsp oil
- 1 tbsp peri peri masala
- 1tsp oil + little butter ( optional )
- Place a pressure cooker on the flame and add 1 tsp of oil, spreading it evenly at the base and along the sides.
- Stir in the raw corn kernels, ensuring they are coated with the oil.
- Reduce the flame, cover the pressure cooker with a lid, or use the cooker cover to contain the heat.
- As the kernels start popping, allow them to pop until done, then remove from the flame and set aside.
- Heat a kadhai on the flame and warm it slightly.
- Now add 1 tsp butter and 1/2 tsp oil so that the butter does not heat too quickly as it will over cook or burn the peri peri masala .
- Incorporate the Peri Peri masala into the kadhai.
- Add the popped corn kernels and mix well, ensuring that every piece is generously coated with the peri peri seasoning.
- Once mixed thoroughly, your Peri Peri Popcorn is ready to be enjoyed.
- Store the popcorn in an airtight container for later snacking pleasure.
